  • The amount differs depending on your organization’s size. It might be $25,000, $10,000, $5,000, or even $1,000. You can define the minimum amount by asking at what gift amount do donors receive one-on-one attention? Or, at what amount could you maintain one-on-one relationships with donors?

  • Your overall pool of contributed income your organization relies on each year to operate. Sometimes also called the “Operating Fund” or referred to as “unrestricted funds”.

  • Someone with financial capacity to make a major gift who has demonstrated interest in your organization.

  • Donation range amounts that your organization defines, used to encourage donors to jump from one range to the next as they grow their investment in your organization.
